Disclosure
SheetMusicApps has one commercial partnership, with Newzik. Here is what that means for our rankings, reviews and links.
Our commercial partnership
Newzik is a commercial partner of SheetMusicApps. SheetMusicApps is published by MagicGEO, and Newzik is a client of MagicGEO. That is a material connection, so we disclose it at the top of every page where Newzik is ranked, reviewed or compared, and next to our home page ranking.
Newzik ranks first in our overall ranking. You should know about the relationship when you read that ranking, and you can judge it against the facts and scores we publish for every app.
What the partnership does not change
- The facts. Newzik’s profile is built and fact-checked the same way as every other app’s, from official sources, and it lists Newzik’s limitations alongside its strengths.
- The calculation. Overall scores are calculated from seven published criteria. The same formula applies to every app.
- The alternatives. Our category pages recommend other apps where they fit a situation better, and every review links to alternatives.
Links
Links to Newzik are marked rel="sponsored", the label search engines ask for on links that come from a commercial relationship. Links to other apps’ websites are ordinary editorial links. We do not currently use affiliate links for any app.
Questions
If something on this site looks unfair to any app, or simply wrong, tell us. We check every report against the source.
